Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy explains what information BetaPick collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our product discovery platform.

Information we collect

We collect account information you provide, such as your email address, display name, profile details, submitted products, reviews, bookmarks, and upvotes. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information you authorize Google to share.

We also process limited technical information needed to keep the service reliable and secure, such as authentication events, request timestamps, and abuse-prevention signals.

How we use information

We use your information to authenticate you, operate your profile, publish the content you choose to submit, calculate rankings, personalize product discovery, prevent abuse, and improve BetaPick.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate BetaPick, when you direct us to, or when required by law.

Storage and security

Account and community data is stored using Supabase and our hosting infrastructure. We apply access controls and reasonable technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update your profile and email preferences in Settings. You may also request deletion of your account; deleting an account permanently removes associated profile information and user-generated content where required by the service.

Contact and changes

Questions about this policy can be sent using the support contact displayed in BetaPick’s authentication flow. We may update this policy as the product develops, and the date above will show the latest revision.
