Data Processing Agreement

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This page explains how to request a data processing agreement when BetaPick processes personal data on behalf of your organisation. It is not an executed agreement and does not create a processor relationship by itself.

When an agreement applies

A data processing agreement applies where one party processes personal data on another party’s documented instructions. Using a public directory, submitting a listing, or creating an account does not automatically establish that relationship. BetaPick’s own platform processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

BetaPick is independently operated by an individual. Any proposed agreement must identify the actual contracting parties and the specific service before it can take effect.

Request an agreement

Contact BetaPick before sending personal data that you expect us to process on your behalf. Include your organisation’s identity, the service you require, your contact details, the intended processing activities, data categories, categories of individuals, locations, and expected duration. Do not include the actual personal data in the initial request.

We will review whether the requested processing is supported and whether a separate written agreement is appropriate. No processor service or executed DPA is offered automatically by this page.

Scope and instructions

An agreed processing schedule would need to define the subject matter, duration, nature and purpose of processing, types of personal data, categories of individuals, and each party’s responsibilities. Processing must be limited to the documented lawful instructions and the agreed service.

Confidentiality and security

Any agreed arrangement must specify confidentiality obligations for authorised personnel and appropriate technical and organisational safeguards for the relevant processing. The public Security page describes BetaPick’s general approach; it is not a certification or a service-specific security schedule.

Providers and international transfers

BetaPick uses service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, communications and payments. A processor arrangement must identify the providers relevant to that service, their processing roles, locations, applicable authorisation and change-notice procedures, and safeguards for any international transfers. A provider used for the public platform is not automatically approved for every proposed processor service.

Requests, incidents and assistance

An executed agreement must address assistance with individual rights requests, security incidents, regulatory obligations and relevant impact assessments. The parties must agree their contacts, responsibilities and notification arrangements. Send privacy and security enquiries through Contact; do not disclose passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Return, deletion and verification

Any agreement must define return or deletion of the agreed data when processing ends, applicable legal retention, backup handling, and information and audit arrangements sufficient to demonstrate compliance. These details must be established for the actual service; no fixed deletion or audit commitments are created by this page.
